SRU St. Jude Up 'Til 2 is an organization on campus that is based around collecting donations for St. Jude to help put an end to childhood cancer. Morgan Simkovic, Tanner Hill, and Julianna DiPippa are a part of the e-board helping to create events for the group. For this event, Students from SRU St. Jude Up 'Til 2 took 4-hour shifts swinging on main street. The idea was to bring awareness and generate donations for St. Jude, a non-profit childhood cancer research center in Tennessee. All three students beamed with pride when asked about why they decided to do this. "The children can't fight alone," Morgan explained. "We have to bring issues like this to light so there would be a chance for change." The total profit generated from the 4-day spell is unknown, however it isn't all about that. Sometimes just knowing that an issue is there can make a difference in someones life.
